1978 – Present
1978
The Rondeau family, led by Robert Rondeau, decided to move from Lowell, Massachusetts, to Phoenix, Arizona, after experiencing the harsh "Blizzard of 1978."
1979
Settling in Phoenix, Robert built a swimming pool in his backyard to combat the Arizona heat, sparking his interest in pool construction.
1983
1988
The company took a major step forward by purchasing its first commercial property on Cave Creek Road in Phoenix. The new location featured an office and a display pool, enhancing Rondo’s ability to serve more clients and establish itself in the competitive Arizona market.
1990s
2004
After more than two decades of leading the company, Robert retired, passing the torch to Kevin and Steven. With years of hands-on experience, they embraced the challenge of continuing the Rondo legacy while adapting to evolving industry trends.
2005-2010
The mid-2000s saw a period of rapid growth in the housing market, leading to increased demand for custom pools. However, when the Great Recession hit, the construction industry faced severe challenges. Despite these difficulties, Rondo Pools remained resilient, leveraging its strong reputation and loyal customer base to weather the downturn and emerge stronger.

Rondo Pools received the "Reader’s Favorite Pool Builder" award from Greater Nashville House & Home, a testament to its continued commitment to quality and innovation.
